    My Computer icon error

I have a small but very niggling fault with my computer. The icons on my desktop are all high resolution but the 'My computer' keeps reverting itself to a low resolution icon but without affecting th eother desktop icons. If I create another 'My Computer' icon by right clicking and creating another shortcut the new iconcreated is also in low resolution. The only way I can get rid of this problem is to rebuild my icons using TweakUI Powertoys for Xp but doing this means I loose the custom positions of my icons and I have to rearrange this.

Can you offer any solutions for this small but very puzzling problem?

    Heres a picture to help

Maybe you've tried this...only thing i can think is on its properties, and just change to the default My Computer icon, maybe itll reset it.

Another method is to use a freeware icon exporter program to export the icon you want from explorer.exe, or shell32.dll. You can save it as an "ico" file, then use that as the default icon.
