Asus Z170 Pro gaming USB 3.0 Drivers for Windows 10

Hi All

Recently built a new gaming rig which is running windows 10. Have managed to get past/solve a few teething problems apart from the USB 3???

I have tried several USB 3 devices but all having the same problem where they will not show in "This Computer" and will not assign a drive lable in disk management.

I have checked in device manager and can see that the intel USB 3 driver is being supplied by Microsoft, and i can not find any intel USB 3 drivers for Windows 10

Can anyone advise what i can try?

Disk management... USB stick shows up 3 times? (USB 2 Devices all work fine in same USB slot, front or back)

Not yet, was hoping i could try and fix it myself first before having to call them up.

Well they might have updated drivers on their site too.

They only have a win 10 driver for Asmedia USB3.1/3.0 Driver V1.16.26.1 for Windows10 64bit.

If you select Win 7 they have an intel USB 3 driver

I have the same board and driver and I don't have any problem with a mass storage device on my case's front USB3 port. Perhaps you got an early revision motherboard with a bug?

Thanks for confirming mate, can you advise if the intel USB 3 driver is being provided by Microsoft? Like mine in the device manager picture above?

Think i have found the problem, by turning off the auto OC in BIOS the USB 3 devices have all started working, for the win
Can backup all my porn now

looks like it is sorted though so i wouldn't worry if it is working ok
