    Help

Hi i recently purchased a sony dvd rewriter from ebay, its supposed to be 16x speed but at its best only seems to write at 2.5 x o n a dvd+r disc does anyone know what the problem could be - also i tried to copy south park season 7 to test it ( another e bay purchase) it is five hours long and would of taken up to 1hr 40 mins to burn, However after 45 % and 99 % errors have occured. Can anyone please help me with these problems i have no idea what to do.

You need to get media that supports 16x burning, and also copying South Park would be piracy

The model number of the sony drive will tell you what it can do. The media you are using needs to be supported for the write speed by the drive, a firmware update may sort it
