    msi ms-6747 Drivers

Well my mate has the msi ms-6747 motherboard, but the PC was wiped and as the board is an OEM version there is no CD with it to install the drivers again (therefore problems such as no sound)...did some googling and found no site with the drivers! Can someone help please?

According to this: http://www.elhvb.com/mboards/OEM/medion/index.html it is a Springdale G board. So you would need to go to the intel website and get the drivers for the i865 chipset.

Or alternatively you could browse MSI's webbie for another board that uses the i865 chipset and get the drivers from there. There is also a freeware tool that will identify unknown PCI devices etc (Google it!).

The "MSI" drivers are simply proved and tested drivers from whichever chipset manufactures the parts are from (and therefore usually a little out of date), so the guys above are quite correct to point you towards Intel.
You'll probably find however that the audio chip isn't from Intel, most often they are from Realtek or C-media.
Yours is C-media, and you can download here.
You have to select 'On-board audio', then CMI9739, then your particular operating system.
