    Reversing Stereo Audio in WinXP

    Hello all,

nothing serious here, but something quite annoying here. Due to a cabling issue i have to have my right speaker on the left of my desk and hence my left one on the right. Now, in windows I'm not too fussed, but in games it can make a difference in terms of positional audio.

Is there anyway that i can revese stereo audio in Windows? Dont particularly need an answer like "You should move the speakers the other way round" as i KNOW i can do that, but i have wired everything and tidied everything away, and dont really want to dig it all up again.

But there has to be a way!!! I know some games support this option, but strangely, not all of them do, so any ideas guys??

get a couple of opposite gender 3.5mm > 2x phono adapters... plug the male 3.5mm into your comp, plug the other adapter into that backwards, then plug the speakers into that

What is your audio manufacturer? Is it onboard or is it sound card?
