resolution or refresh rate of the game is outside what the TV will accept i think.

What TV is it? What resolution and refresh rates does it handle? etc.

im having the same thing on mine, on NFSMW i can get to the menus and settings but as soon as i change the resolution and try and enter the game i get a black screen. i have been reading up on this and i found a little add on that lets you set a custom res before you start the game, but the tv is very fussy. 1360x768 works great for windows via vga. unfortunately my telly wont accept any decent resolutions over hdmi so i think ill have to find something else to play. scrabble.
