If I were you I'd settle for 2.6 and give it the full Prime treatment.
so leave it as it is nightshadow? I just cba to seel my 3700 and buy a 146, thats why i havent done it
Yeah man, it's stupidly fast at 2.6GHz so just enjoy it.
What temps are you getting with it?
32 idle with fan on full wack, a few more higher with it on medium
those temps are cool, thank god im a ncie person and let u swap ur XP-120 with my Arctic Freezer so u cud fit 2GB of ram. :) (which i got you) i need a medal.
lemme rustle a paper hat together
along with a green name (oh, no worries, got that one) :P bring her home john ill sort her for you. out of interetsing what u runing at now?? 2.6?
Scrandman: probably the most un constructive post i have seen for a while well done.
and also my opteron runs at 2.8 stock volts but that doesnt mean my pcs is faster than merlins because its probably not..
and if its a 2.6 and u ram is running fast john then that should be very nippy tbh
ram is at 333 and i havent touched the timings, as going to ask is it best to have tight timings with a cpu overclock or loose?
Post some CPU-Z screenshots Merlin, the 'CPU' and 'Memory' tabs. :D
Could do with linking to that man, s'abit on the large side. :p
Looks good to me though, does your RAM stock at 2-3-3-6?
EDIT: I've looked into it - you should be okay with 2.5-3-3-6 according to this.
