Nothing booting

Was happily playing far cry, and when the loading bar came up it jsut froze and couldnt get out of it.
So i restarted pc by the powerbutton and the restart button. Fans starting going and the motherboard was light on. But i was getting no screen.
The ram im using has leds and they turn on yellow for a second then no lights at all which i wrong..
I reset the cmos to no avail and reseated the ram.

Im now out of ideas lads, could you please help me... I got the boot screen once but when i came bk it was back to no picture.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

If you got the boot screen once that's a good sign as I with the hot weather I was worrying about your temperatures. I was thinking that maybe your cpu had got too hot and started to burn out. But as you have got the boot screen once I'm inclined to think it's a problem with your ram.

Have you got any other ram you can borrow? I'd try testing some other ram first as it seems easiest to do.

what does the POST LED on the mobo say?

i forgot what it said, but im in now. The ram jsut flashed yellow which was weird as it goes all colours then jsut green. Im really having a prob with instability at the moment. I got a feeling its my hd, as my ram is fine i think, mobo is new from u buff, cpu cant be faulty surley.... soooooooo
