    Corrupt PST File

    Hi,

I recently had a corrupt hard drive and so I decided to exportmy e-mails to a pst file to put on my new drive. This went as planned, however when trying to restore the pst file outlook 2003 tells me that it is not a valid file. I have tried ontracks e-mail recovery tool plus various others all to no success,

    Please, please help!!

    Thanks,

    James

I'm sure I had this problem a couple of years ago with an outlook personal file. Can't you open it with a database program or something then convert it back?

    Re: Corrupt PST File

    Hi,

You can try a popular Outlook recovery tool called Advanced Outlook Repair to repair your PST file. It is a powerful tool to recover messages, folders and other objects from corrupt or damaged Microsoft Outlook PST files.

    Hope this still can help.

I hope that in the intervening 11 years, the OP has solved the problem, otherwise he will have a lot of emails to deal with when his system comes back to life!

Given the age of the thread, I think Ill close it!
