Hi
Is there a tool/s to check the quality/glitches/stutter of an avii/mpeg/vob. After a encode I give a quick flick through to check audio sync/quick quality check, but not thorough enough.
thanx

Always use your own eyes.
If you want the best quality use virtualdub/dgindex to check the encoded file frame by frame. It might look blocky but playback fine.
No program could determine a bad frame from 2 quick scene change, you got to look for glitches yourself. Depends on the source you use, the decoder would have reported bad frame before or during encoding.
There shouldn't be stutter unless you forgot to decimate or the source was bad.

I use AGK/Dr.divx 1.0.6, I have yet to encounter a stutter/glitch, but then again I have not watched all. I have encountered audio sync, which is very hard to fix. I know of vdub(use nandub) I was just wondering if there was a tool to scan the file for any errors. Thanks for input
