Hi all can anyone recommend any web designers in the Manchester area of the UK, as id like my own website but havent go a clue how to make one

It depends what you want, what its for - and if it's commercial - how much you want to pay

I do know a couple of people locally in this line ... obviously this is nothing to do with work of course

Actually while we're at it I could really use someone with some free time (I have next to none) to build something for me (pref Joomla based - nothing too flash) - any web-design experienced people on their summer break that want to earn some beer money?
