Dodgy Computer

My computer isnt that old but i've had problems since day one. I'l be surfing or doing something undemanding and programs just decide not to respond. I have plenty of free RAM and my processor rarely runs at 100%. I just dont understand. Its like it has a mind of its own.

what is your cpu? and the rest of your system?

Its in that little drop-down thing, but its an amd 3200+ venice, ecs rs482-m mobo, a gig of value select ram, and on board graphics (shudder, soon to be an asus extreme 7600gt)

I should probably add that I'm getting stop errors every now and then. (its actually a white screen but I get an error report send thing that says its a stop error)
