    problem with cpu usage!

i have got a problem with my cpu usage when the system is idle it stays on about 2% but every 10 secs it jumps up to between 23% to 30%!

i first noticed this when i was playing battlefield and the frames kept dropping every 10secs!

please help this is really annoying!

    any ideas?

ok i think i may have found the culprit the virtual memory requirements seemed to have gone up from 2048mb to 3096mb so i have set them on 4000mb i will give it a go when i get home hopefully it will be ok!
