    70 Degree Safe for X850XTPE

Got this card and it is arctic silencer bought of here last year. Just came out of cs:s and the temp is 70 and when touching the cooler its roasting.

Nothing to worry about or is there a problem, maybe reseating the cooler?

    cheers all

70C under load should be ok. Modern cards seem to be designed for these stupid high temperatures. It seems crazy to us when we're used to A64's that die over 55C, but aparently they can take it, and I've known quite a few people to talk about their modern card getting into the 80's.

The other factor is case cooling and airflow, my X800XT PE is usually at 55 load with the stock cooler, but then my pc does sound like a jumbo jet about to take off!
