    Stop Windows Automatically Updating???

    Hi,

I am trying to stop windows automatically updating at the mo. Basically, I think it is trying to update my IE (I know firefox exists) and when it does, certain sites that I need to visit on a regular basis cause errors and I can't view them for a prolonged period of time.

To overcome this problem I have to reinstall my IE and then everytime I reboot it tries to update it again and there is nothing I can knowingly do to stop it. Basically I want to stop the update program running when I startup.

I'm on 2000 and have msconfig downloaded but there is nothing like the windows update on the startup menu for me to disable.

Any help would be greatly appreciated,
    TIA,
    Tom

On XP you just look under Automatic Updates in Control Panel - plenty of options but I'm not sure if it's there in 2000...

[EDIT] according to some screenies I've just seen it should be there [/EDIT]
