Watercooling radiator, which way up? :o

Probably a stupid question so worth asking

Which way is optimal for the radiator in a watercooling loop,
barbs at the top or at the bottom?
Or does it not affect it in any way?

i tried to find this out before i fitted my rad ages ago and could not find a definate answer!

i ended up mounting mine with the barbs at the top just because it was easier for me that way!

    Good idea Gonzo..
Going to flip mine over as it seems easier to route the tubing directly that way.
Only put it up the other way because it seemed all the cool kids do it

i dont think it makes much difference the only advantages of having the barbs at the top are trapped air can get out(like gonzo says).
And in there rare event of a water leak the water will stay in the radiator instead of emptying itself into your pc!
