Basically I want a nice pair of headphones (my sennheiser PC150 set needs replacing). Now, if I get say a nice pair of HD595 headphones...I'll need a separate mic. Now when I used to have a desk mic it wasn't very good - so has anyone got a solution to my problem? I'd love to try the 595s but a microphone is imperative

Logitech Desktop mic? it works bloody well for me

buy a better desk mic, or set it up right, desk mics are fine you just have to put them in the right place and have all the audio preperties set
Well I think I'll buy the £15 logitech one and stick it on my monitor. Hopefully it'll work well.
u get interfearance on a monitor sometimes so i would put it away from anything like case fans and monitors
The logitech one I got from Scan was free standing, so placed it between me & my monitor - and it has worked perfectly
