No Sound from PC
I am having problems with sound on my pc.
I am using the ASRock conroe esata2 mobo and the antec solo case. My speakers are logitech X230 2.1.
I have the logitech speakers plugged into the back of the mobo (green plug, just like the speaker setup mentioned). There were no drivers with the logitech speakers. My Antec SOLO (p150) case has a audio wire which I'm not sure where to connect; So I connected it to the HD audio plug on the mobo. Thats all I have done. No sound plug is connected to the DVD rom.
No sound (speakers are being recognised). Not even the beep that is received when posting. Can anyone help?

You will not need any drivers for your speakers, u will however need drivers for ur onboard sound, to check right-click on my computer and select 'manage'. Next click on device manager on the left pane and look for any unknown devices in the right pane (yellow question marks) If you have any that mention media or audio device then grab the latest drivers from the Asrock website that are for your mobo, any probs post back here
Note - There will be an audio header to which u will need to connect ur antec audio jumpers to, it is normally toward the bottom of the mobo, asrock sometimes colour it green, 10 pin header with one missing pin, ur manual will have the extact pinouts but to be honest they are almost the same on every mobo due to standards. Ignore the HDMI SPDIF header unless ur graphics card is HDMI and u want to output audio that way. For now just install the drivers and connect via analogue (unless ur speakers are spdif only)
Note - Drivers Here
