Hard drives are one of the hardest things to damage in transit. Most can take 400-500G once turned off. Apart from being physically smashed or crushed, they'll carry on working. You can also hire specialist IT couriers.
I've moved my PC incl. 6 drives many times.
If you really want to remove them, then you want static shielding bags/anti-static bags. 'pink' bags are used to transport something that may become charged through a zero static area.
