    audio

i just brought a jeantech phong11 case, very nice it as well, it has front audio outputs and i would like to be able to just plug my headphones in so i can swop between my speakers and headphones, but for some reason whenever i plug in the headphones i get no audio out of it. Im using a soundblaster live ive connected the front panel audio connector to the motherboard is there anything else i need to connect ?

Faudio connector on motherboard is for onboard sound chip only so you have to connect wires directly to your sblive. But your sblive has to have 10 pin white connector something like this. http://www.devhardware.com/forums/at...entid=492(this is audigy one)
Look here for more details on how to connect faudio wires to your soundcard.

BTW, I'm using sblive on my second rig and onboard soundchip is also enabled. I know this is something you shouldn't do in general, but they're working fine together on my system. So whenever I want to use my faudio connectors, I just select onboard chip as a default device in "sound and audio device" in control panel, and select sblive whenever I play games. And it doesn't take more than a minute to do so.
