Custom resolution to fit native LCD screen?

    Hey folks,

Company recently purchased a 32" LCD screen for presentations, and granted it works perfectly, save for the native resolution...

For optimal quality the resolution forthe model has to be 1366 x 768, which of course isnt a default you can set.

Any way of getting this resolution without drivers or a stupidly expensive PCMCIA card? 3rd party software or the like?

    Thanks

Depends on the graphics card and I dont think you'll manage much without drivers

its just your graphics card drivers - my laptop will do that res fine (as will all other pcs i've used in the last few years). you can probably hack an inf file using powerstrip to force that resolution to work - but it might be as simple as turning your laptop on with that monitor already plugged in

thought as much...the laptop is a little aged, and my workstation according to the custom resolutions will do "HIDEF" 1280x768...which is effectively whats needed.

    Hmmm...will need the bosses lappy
