    notebook over heating: where can i buy notebook replacement fans?

    my laptop is a targa visionary 1900+; been happy with it for the past 6 years, but fans starting to rattle. anyone recomend me replacements?

    ive asked the original manufacturer sticker label that was on the fan who do not stock that product line any more.

    hosting images onto image shack as we spk =p

    pls someone help me , me notebook is starrting to over heat because the fans are failing !

    I would get a fan which is the same size as that one (measure the diameter of the fins not the casing) and replace the fan in that fans casing with the new fan.

    If you got access to some PC hardware open markets (there are a few here around London), try to search around the piles of old graphics cards and mobos, I got some good silent fans off them to cool my northbridge heatsink some time ago.

    Have you tried taking the fan apart and using some WD40 on it? I managed to fix a couple of fans by doing that...
