Could anyone provide a link to newish drivers for this card, as I'm using windows default ones.
The new nvidia drivers from themselves cause my system to go to 640 * 480 * 4 colours.
Any help appreciated

So you must be installing them wrong as i've covered all possibilities there.... You will after any driver installation need to change the display settings afterwards.
Hey,
Windows 2000/XP
or
Windows95/98/Me
Would be the latest drivers :) the 40.xx series of drivers (45.23 here for xp/2000) give the best performance though :)
I was rude earlier on, I am sorry about that. It is a bit puzzling why the install leaves you with the default resolution and really low colours. Have previous graphics drivers been applied to the install before? Might be worth uninstalling what you currently have and running driver cleaner then giving the drivers another install.
google driver cleaner pro, uninstall video, reboot to safe mode, run driver cleaner pro (its free) and reinstall video, that should sort you out :)
is it a fresh install? what operating system? can you give us some general background info?
Yeah brand new box fresh & up to date, just dont like ANY new Nvidia drivers.
Still it got 14k in 3dmark01 which is o.k for me as i play old games.
Thanks for your help.
