That's still a bit cheap for a 500w isn't it?! Only £24, what brand is this one?

EZCOOL or something...should i have got a better one?? I wasnt prepared to spend to much but yeh...is there any other way that i can check if its the psu without going out and buying another one?? btw after about the sixth time i tried to start the game i got another blank bsod...sooo not good...seems like it was working better with my other psu!! What are some good psu brands?

    Thanks for the help...

EDIT: Well i put my old psu in and it works like before so the new psu makes the problem worse!!!

Have you tested your GC on another PC? Maybe your card is dying.

PROBLEM SOLVED!!!!! The place where i bought my new psu helped me out, quite an interesting story actually!!

Well...i decided to take my new EZCOOL psu back to see if i could get another one and i decided to take my pc to just show them what exactly was happening. I got there and we first tried the same EZCOOL psu but not the one i had, another one exactly the same and there was still the same problem...the game wouldnt start at all....it would always bring up a windows error or a blank bsod. The computer guy at the store said i doubt trying another psu of a different brand would make a difference...but i insisted that we try it anyway...and we did. He put in an omni 500W that was $9 cheaper i price and NOW IT WORKS FINE!!! The guy at the pc store was amazed at how a cheaper brand made a difference even though it was the same power in terms of watts. He said he had never encountered something like that before. So now it works great and i got 9 dollars back...hehe...but thanks for all of your help and indeed the psu was the problem!!!!

    Thank you
