    speedlink medusa 5.1 no vibration!

i have had these headphones for quite a while now and have been very pleased with them!

my problem is that the vibration feature no longer seems to work i just cant figure out why i tried googling it but to no avail!

has anybody else experienced this problem or got any ideas why its not working apart from this problem the headphones work perfectly!

    many thanks leeglf

By the very function its destined to fail unless extremely well constructed. Its basically a odd shaped lump of metal attached to a motor that spins.. the force of that can shake wires loose (quick resolder job), or harder to fix, the motor could have burned out (get a new motor the exact same size and solder into place.. much harder). Good Luck, open it up and see what turns up.

Heh I would suggest the above before you try any of my methods. Certain to void warranty

ok so today i took them apart to have a look to see if i could see anything obviously wrong i.e. loose/broken wires etc.

but i could not find any thing wrong i switched them on while they were in bits and noticed that the big centre speakers which i am guessing are the things that are meant to vibrate are not doing anything!

any ideas what i can try next?
