G15 problem

Ok strange one. I have just bought the logitech G15 keyboard, plugged it in and it would not work. tried in all usb's in front and back and they all work with other things. rebooted one more time and it worked no problem.

the rebooted for something unrelated and the keyboard worked but my normal ps2 mouse would not. Had to plug in my old ps2 keyboard to use mouse.

Why would a usb keyboard kill my mouse? Its very strange. Also G15 would not light up and work untill I hit windows. Surley it should work from the off? for BIOS etc.

Any ideas about what I could be missing?

I'm not sure how to fix your problem but my fromt USB ports fry anything that I plug into them. Its strange, like the voltages are too high on it.

don't know about your first problem but it's normal that it only lights up when windows has loaded it should however work in the bios even tho it doesnt light up unless you have got to enable an option in the bios first for usb keyboards?

Hmmm it seems ton have settled down. its still buggy but I will try and iron that out lol

Is the BIOS set to disallow USB keyboards and/or mice?

my mouse was all over the place aswell when i got it!

i downloaded the update for the mouse and its fine

Mine was weird when I first got it too. seems to work much better with a USB mouse and a USB keyboard at the same time. Think this is mainly down to motherboards though.

download the latest software and give it a whirl see if it works.
