    Which Case?

Im going to get a new case for my upcoming pc.

What do you guys reccomend and what are your experiences with the cases you have now?

Im thinking of going for the Akasa eclipse 62 case. It got a great review from hexus a couple of years back.

    Thanks guys for your suggestions.

I had a look at the review for the T-09 and cant justify the extra 100 quid over an eclipse just for some fancy graphics card cooling.

I wish hexus would do an overall comparison on the cases they have reviewed. I want to know whether they still think the eclipse is still the best and is as good as when they reviewed it.

    My mate has the 180, hes wants an eclipse. He says the following are problems;

    Its fiddly to change components
    The door is annoying
He thinks that with the way graphics cards are increasing in size that he may become stuck for room.
Cable routing is a pain in the arse.

So it doesnt sound like I will be getting one of those then.

The Antec 900 looks fantastic in my eyes and is very, very agressively priced.

Yep I deffo like the look of the antec case. There was a problem for people with graphics cards in the first slot but I think they fixed that problem now.

Ummm interesting. I think its now out of the eclipse and the 900

I am an eclipse owner, very very good case, big, but very good. However I would suggest u get the updated mirage 62, my only beef is the horrible plastic front on the eclipse, whereas the mirage, which afaik is identicle internally, has a much nicer door on the front.

Eclipse or Mirage - Mirage looks nice, and while it has a door at least the power and reset buttons work through the door too. Only issue is if you use your optical drives much.
If you don't like doors, get the eclipse. Brilliant cases.
P180 i don't like much, it's not bad - it is silent - but I'd buy the Eclipse/mirage at that price.

    Lian Li

    Hi there,

I used to have a Lian Li Brushed Aluminium midi case that I paid £70 for.. I really loved that case and still can't work out why I got rid of it - along with the innards - to get a poxy Shuttle (sob). It was spacious, stylish and, of course, it was brushed aluminium (mmmmmm).

Well, I'm gonna get another Lian Li case from Overclockers when I build my new PC but I won't be opting for their new micro ATX cube case or the ridiculous one that looks like a SHELL for god's sake!?!

    K.
