Hanging on windows loading screen

Was on my PC all day yesterday running fine.

Turned it on this morning to find it just sitting on the windows loading bar... and wont boot.

Managed to get into safe mode, but when i went to do a system restore it begins to shut down and restart saying " saving windows settings" but never went past that...

Any ideas all?

You could try uninstalling graphics/chipset drivers in safe mode, then rebooting and installing them in normal windows? Also try taking any network cables out.

ok, i put in my newer samsung, which had a dodgy instal of windows on it so looks sh!t, and that booted np, and fast.
