Web Hosting - Could do with some help!

    Well, here is the situation:

Got a domain name in .fr for my dad from gandi.net
Subscribed to internatforall.com to their $12/yr hosting package.

I thought, easy peasy, just change the DNS settings at Gandi for the internetforall ones ns.xxx.xxx and ns2.xxx.xxx

Wait 48 hours, logged into Gandi and it comes up with an error in the DNS transfer with something called Zonecheck done by AFNIC (I guess the French domain name allocator). The error says that the DNS given are not coherent with what was taken from the zones (!!!)

A simple question, to host a site, the only thing I need to do is to change the DNS with the people I registered with, right ?

Please help, this is driving me nuts!

Yes you are correct. In theory all you need to do is change the nameservers to point at your hosting account.

I've not ever had that error so couldn't really advise on it, but you may wish to contact your hosting company for advice, they might have run into this kind of thing before.
