    Sounds like something's overheating to me.
    Load into windows, loads bf2, when the machine crashes, turn it off for 10 or so minutes, then see if it boots back into windows, if it does your looking at a heat or possibly a PSU issue.

    I take it theres no overclocking or tweaking been done?

    i dont think its over heating coz windows still wont start even tho its been off the whole night i can play all other games on high setting with out this problem like cod 2 and stuff its just bf2 (even put bf2 on the low setting) just crash and when i restart the pc it also crash windows so i cant load windows past the loading screen any more

    My guess is that something went wrong while you're playing bf2 which caused BSOD(I don't know what caused this exactly though) and when your pc restarted one of those system files got corrupted which is preventing you from reloading windows. I think either repair install of windows or system file restore will fix your booting problem but you will still likely get bf2 problem. Make sure you install most recent version of your graphic and sound card drivers and directx.

    http://www.memtest.org/ - Run this.

    BF2 uses a lot of RAM. If part of your RAM is dodgy then a system file might be getting corrupted, causing the crash/boot failure. I've seen dodgy RAM cause the startup failure you describe (reinstall necessary to fix), although this system was nowhere near powerful enough to run BF2 (); it just used to happen at random.
    PHP Code:
    $s = new signature();
    $s->sarcasm()->intellect()->font('Courier New')->display();

    ok well i reinstall windows again

    put bf2 on change some setting like put them all on low and when i exit bf2 i get a error sound but no message to say the error. Then i restart the pc and windows load and this message pop up.

    One of the files containing the system's registry data had to be recovered by use of a log or alternate copy. the recovery was successful

    i click ok coz thats all u can do play bf2 again for 10 mins crash again this time same problem i get in my first post. Windows does not start up it just stuck in a loop restarting all the time

    Sorry I missed the part you said you've already formated 4 times. Then it does sound like memory problem like Steve said above, but again you said you can play other games fine on highest setting? That's very wierd. BTW have you tried memtest? Follow the link Steve posted above and get it and run it overnight and see if you get any errors. If you didn't get any errors then your memory seems ok so I don't know...but if your friend's got another copy of bf2, try installing from that cd maybe? This is highly unlikly but if you're extremely unlucky you might have recieved badly pressed cd and that maybe causing your problem.

    I'd still go with 'your graphics card is overheating'... i could be wrong.

    I think [GSV]Trig has hit the nail on the head in his first post I think it's PSU problem. You probably need beefier PSU to run your current rig. I can't say for sure but it's most likely.

    Yer id have to go along with that 530w for a g80 psu must be just scratching the border to a blowout. But you should look around to what other people are using the 8800 gts on personally since its new i havent looked into exact power requirements but they should surely be above 530w. (*sobs* i only have the hiperpower type r 480w )

    Yes - if it isn't the card over heating, without a shadow it's not receiving enough power.
