£250 / CPU and a Motherboard needed help!

The rig will be used alot for photoshop and other graphic tasks and will also be used for a little gaming here and there, and it needs to be compatible with a 512MB XFX 7300GS card.

So is there anyone out there that can suggest some CPU and motherboards for a total of £250, i know its tight but heh. Thanks

What RAM you got ? No good is specing up a DDR2 system if you have DDR1

1Gb (2X512Mb) CorsairTwinX XMS2, DDR2 PC6400 (800), 240 Pins, Non-ECC Unbuffered, CAS 5-5-5-15

An Intel Core 2 Duo E6300 and Abit AWD9 seem to be the components i would use for that budget

isnt the 7300GS 256mb onboard, and then shares 256mb of system memory?

if soo, its a real pooper of a card, and very low end, you will be very dispointed with it.
