Recently bought a 32" HD LCD TV (Acoustic Solutions) from Argos which has a HDMI Input.
My PC has an XFX (Nvidia) FX5200 Graphics card with a DVI-I output.
I originally tried a DVI-I (Dual Link) to HDMI cable and the PC could detect the television panel but I couldnt get a picture, just a blank screen.
So i bought a DVI-D (Single Link) to HDMI cable and again I cannot get a picture even when the PC first boots-up.
I have even tried a Dell PC with an Intergrated Grahics Card (again with a DVI-I output with the same results.
Have I bought the wrong cables or is my TVs HDMI input knackered.
I have thought of connecting through the component inputs but Im pretty sure that a DVI-I to component cable wont work from a PC graphics card.
