    £900 Desktop + monitor

    Just basically the best gaming desktop I could buy pre built for £900. Its for my m8 cause i cba to build one at this time of the year

    Ok, i've had a quick look around the usual sources, and come up with the following:

    1st, buy the monitor seperately as there are some serious bargains with 19" widescreen (1440 x 900 resolution) monitors.
    Try this ASUS for £141.

    Then give Scan a look with their 3xs system, such as this one here:
    Scan, £750 inc VAT.
    It comes with Core2Duo (2.13Ghz), 1 gig of RAM and a 7600GT (perfect fine for the suggested monitor).
    You can also change the spec quite easliy for little money (improve the hard drive capacity for £5!).

    I agree, try Mesh. You can choose pretty much whatever you want component wise, and the prices aren't too bad, and the quoted price includes VAT all the time, unlike another site I went to, which didn't add the VAT on until the end! Just remember delivery costs £39.95 ***** VAT, so factor that into the budget.
