Question Scythe Ninja - Is doesnt fit!!

Built my new pc, however, once I fitted the ninja, i did wonder if it would fit, now when i try and put the side back on my Stacker, the fan holder on the mesh, catches the fan and the case will not shut.

Anyone got any suggestions or have i just wasted my money and will now have to use the AMD stock cooler?

    Thanks

Can't you take off the fan holder? Have you tried moving the fan on the ninja, right/left/top

Cant take the fan holder off as the mesh is bolted on and i dont have an allen key small enough to remove it.

The fan is currently on the right to blow to the rear of the case where there is a 120mm fan, it wont fit the other side of the cooler and top is a no go either.

Looks like im going to have to revert to the stock cooler

Personally speaking I would leave the side off until I could pull the fan holder

    or

Stick a 92/80 mm fan on the top off the ninja

    edit

or move the 120mm fan back and fix it with cable ties

I got a scythe as well on my c2d, and it sticks out from the black widow, to the extent that if I had the side on, I'd have to remove the window...

I have quite a few actually, but nothing this small for the ones fitted.

I will hunt for one and get the fan holder removed.

just means i have a spare 80mm fan now

Trust me, the Ninja is so good you won't need many fans in your case anyway.

Forgot to mention, mine's the Infinity. Pretty cool (no pun intender) cooler, knocked quite a bit off the c2d temps. I've the got the case running more or less naked, so not bothered putting the side panels back on.

There's not much you can do I guess apart from
1)Return it to the shop and get somethingelse
    2)Sell it on ebay
    3)Get larger(fatter) case
    4)Cut the case
5)Use it with your sidecover off

Are you sure they are Allen key and not Torx key (allen key is flat hexagon, torx has pointy star shaped corners.)
