    HANNSG HW191D tft issue

hi guys, for xmas i treated myself to a xbox 360, and with the little cash i had left, splashed put on this 19" widescreeen monitor to enjoy all my games in HD.

I have my pc connected via the vga port on the monitor and have a dvi port on there too, which i have got my HD vga xbox cable stuck in. Am i wrong in thinking that i can have my pc on the vga, and then swith from analouge to digital on the monitor and play my xbox without pulling the vga out and swapping all the time, cause im trying that now and it goes black....then switches back to windows on the vga.

i have a DVI-I adaptor in the back, as that seems to be the only one that fits....somethings wrong somewhere...any ideas please.... thanks for your time

I dont think 360 supports DVI, have you tried windows with DVI and 360 with VGA?

Thats how i have it atm with a different monitor.

    yes i have....

tried the windows on DVI and come to think of it, it says no signal input. check cable. if i plug it into the vga, it works. same with 360. that in DVI flashes black and nothing.....yet if i plug the HD vga cable into the vga port, it works fine. The monitor LED flashes orange too.

when connecting the PC to the monitor, are you using a DVI cable, connected at both ends to DVI plugs?

DVI-D will do digital signals only, not analogue
DVI-I on the otherhand, can take both
