Quick sata question

does sata 300 have the same connections as 150 ? e.g could you in put a sata2 drive onto a sata1 motherboard using the same cables etc?

My new sata II drive works ok on my sata I motherboard (asus) so I would say it would work on others, as the hard disk is backward compatable.

Should be ok, many SATA II drives also have a small jumper setting to run it in 150 mode as well.

Yes SATAII/300 is backward compatible, some drives have a jumper for it, but 9/10 you can just stick the cable in and go.
