Question Philips Photo Frame - Order of Pix in Slideshow

Anybody got a clue? I don't. What determines the order the slideshow feature displays the pictures? I have 150 pictures on my memory card. When the slide show starts, the pictures are not displayed in the order they are on the mem card. I even renamed them all 1.jpg 2.jpg 3.jpg ...etc thinking that maybe the slideshow showed them in NAME order. This also changed the DATE of all the files in a sequential order, so if it was showing them by date, they should be in order. This is not acceptable. My slideshow must be in chronological order.

Well, hello to you too. As far as your Philips photo frame is concerned providing the model number (they do about half a dozen) would be useful. However, the 7FF1WD/00 for instance, gives the following info in its user manual:
    "Choosing photo order
Note: This function applies to all photos.
    • Turn on Photo Display.
    • Press the key (the 3rd key from the left on the rear of Photo Display).
    • A menu with general settings for Photo Display will appear.

Press the key to select Slideshow settings and use the or key to move to the
Order item. Next press the key again to select Order settings.
    • Use the or key to highlight your preference and press to confirm.
Now your selected setting is confirmed.
    • Press to leave this menu."
