About LinkBacksI know how to play SWF files in PPT. Problem is that I want to use a SWF file as a motion background to the slide, but as soon as it plays, it comes to the foreground
not seen any method of backgrounding it

Could be that there just isn't a way to get embeded controls in the background.
Are you able to edit the Shockwave? how about adding the PPT information to that instead?
