BSOD error message

Hi All,


I keep getting this BSOD error message when I start up windows. It seems to happen after I have left the computer off for a while.

The BSOD error message only stays on screen for about 2 seconds before restarting the PC again so I don't have time to read the information onscreen.

Does anyone know how to pause the BSOD message so that I have a chance to diagnose the problem?

May have been a hasty with the 'problem solved' tag but am trying to solve a BSOD error message.

Have found out how to stop the pc from restarting so should be able to provide more info regarding the BSOD error to the hexus 'problem solvers' soon.

The information is usually put into a Dump file in the Windows Directory. If you can get into it you can post the whole thing.

Do you know where the exact directory is, cos there are a lot of files in the windows directory?

You can disable to automatic restart on BSOD to allow you to read the error in system properties > advanced tab >Startup and recovery settings

Have already disabled automatic restart and have managed to see the stop error message. There was no error code information. The only solution given onscreen was to replace the video adapter or obtain the latest BIOS updates for the video adapter (already onto HIS about that).

Upload the DUMP Files here (Or somewhere that we can download) put all relevant ones in a .zip file.

We can look into it further.

Have the DUMP files in a winrar archive will post an ftp address as soon as I can find an avaliable server.

The file is called 'Minidump - Feb 16 2007' and contains 2 dump files for the said date.

The contents of the 2 dump files were weird indeed, so would be grateful if anyone can get anything from them.
