Features - Win one of four mid-range Sapphire Radeon HD graphics cards

It's good being a HEXUS forum member, isn't it? Not only do you get to join the debate in one of the web's most active and informative communities, but you get exclusive access to a number of competitions!

To say thank you for making our community one of the best on the web, we've teamed up with Sapphire to give forum members the chance of winning one of four Radeon HD 7700-series graphics cards!

Instead of one over-elaborate prize, our goodie bag for this one consists of two Sapphire HD 7770 Vapor-X cards and two passively-cooled Sapphire HD 7750 Ultimates. Whether it's cool, overclocked performance you're after or completely-silent operation, we've got you covered!

That's four awesome prizes for four forum members, and all you need to do to be in with a chance of winning is leave a post in this thread telling us why you think these mid-range cards are a perfect match for you.

Every existing forum member who takes part and has at least 25 posts will automatically be entered into our prize draw, and we ask only one thing in return; if you're one of our four lucky winners, come back and post a reader review to tell us how you liked your prize.

    Terms & conditions

    • This competition is open to HEXUS forum members who registered before August 31, 2012, and have at least 25 posts
    • Competition winners will be picked at random from all eligible entries that arrive by midnight of the closing date, September 28, 2012
    • Only one entry is permitted per household per entry form and winners will be notified within seven days of the competition closing date
    • Prizes will ship to winners within 45 days of the draw, though we aim for sooner
    • The first- and second-place winners will each receive a Sapphire Radeon HD 7770 Vapor-X graphics card
    • The third- and fourth-place winners will each receive a Sapphire Radeon HD 7750 Ultimate graphics card
    • In event of any dispute, the judge's decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into
    • In the event that the prize offered is unavailable due to circumstances beyond our control, we reserve the right to offer an alternative prize of equal or greater specification
    • Prize draws are not open to employees of HEXUS and their affiliates, agencies, suppliers, sponsors and members employees' immediate families
    • Submission of an entry will be taken to mean acceptance of these terms and conditions
    • A list of previous competition winners is available at HEXUS.net/Competition_Winners

Stealth ninja version.. totally silent: The 7750 Ultimate (Sapphire were very generous to let us have two of these after our thread on passive cards a little while ago)

..or a 7770 Vapor X, one of the best cooling solutions from any card manufacturer.

Don't be shy soldiers, pilots... tacticians....... you wanted a new card... and now you can have one.... all you have to do is tell us WHY you deserve it and then write us a review when you've got it

Much though I like the thought of an overclocked beastie under the hood, the extra oomph is unnecessary (and probably unnoticeable)for about 85% of everything I use my PC for. Meanwhile, my other half would most definitely appreciate the reduction in volume that passive cooling could bring, especially when I'm on the 'puter late at night.

Re: Features - Win one of four mid-range Sapphire Radeon HD graphics cards

I think i should get one as i feel i'd write (which i would ) a decent review and have two very different machines to test it in. I also wouldn't keep the card for myself (does this exclude me?), but give it to a friend who is running a 4770 so even this mid-range card would be greatly appreciated by him (and me) so we can finally play some games together we've picked up over previous Steam Sales.
Kalniel: "Nice review Tarinder - would it be possible to get a picture of the case when the components are installed (with the side off obviously)?"
CAT-THE-FIFTH: "The Antec 300 is a case which has an understated and clean appearance which many people like. Not everyone is into e-peen looking computers which look like a cross between the imagination of a hyperactive 10 year old and a Frog."
TKPeters: "Off to AVForum better Deal - £20+Vat for Free Shipping @ Scan"
for all intents it seems to be the same card minus some gays name on it and a shielded cover ? with OEM added to it - GoNz0.

If you just look at the cards you can sense how cool they will be, and no doubt end up being pretty cool aswell! I reckon these gpu's will most likely be able to handle nearly every game at medium, maybe even some at high! They have also got direct x 11 capabilities making it better than some of its predecessors.

Re: Features - Win one of four mid-range Sapphire Radeon HD graphics cards

Hi, thank you for the chance to win one good card.

I want this card cause its gonna match perfect with my pc built because i made a mistake when i bought a card and my card its low. my built has: i5 2500k , MB z68 , 1TB , 650W psu, 8gb ram and my low card GT440. so i need one good graphic card like that in competition so i can finaly play games in high resolution as i wanted when i built my pc!
