Also noticed like half of them are UK/EU only sadly.
How long does it take Hexus to contact the winner of a competition? I know it says up to 7 days, but i think i have just won and i'm busting to know.

Sorry photobucket links broken
I'm just happy to have a chance to win one of these. 1 in a million but still have a chance.
oh well...another year winning nothing at all...but nobody can blame me for trying
Yeah two years ago I noticed only half were available to the US. The last couple of years a lot less have been available. I'd guess maybe 80% of them aren't available to the US.
I think we should be reasonable and thank Nexus for the opportunity, that we can enter a sweepstake like this. If you are lucky enough, you only need to say thank you.
Entering my credentials already for years now and never won a thing. Who knows... maybe one day
Why was United States excluded from competitions?
As a general rule, it isn't. But most competitions are run in conjunction with sponsors, usually the company provding the prize(s), and they can specify the scope. Why would they? It may be a product with an unsuitable power supply (e.g. 240v) as this is a UK-based forum. Another reason is that some companies, especially the larger multinationals, are organised in such a way that the US is in a different company region, like North America, and the UK is part of, for example, EMEA, that being Europe, Middle-East and Africa. When that happens, a marketing budget usually applies to the relevant region, and any competitions in the US would come from the North America regional budget. And believe me, there are a LOT of promotions that take place in either North America or even the US alone that aren't open to the rest of the world including Europe and/or the UK.
In other words, there are a number of potential reasons.
