What is it with pissing about with the server?

Tbh i kinda agree with both, we have a fun day on our server with fun maps etc, however if you do it when you feel like it then you will probably find yourselfs with an empty server, of course its up to you, at the end of the day its your server, just a thought

At the end of the day its your server use it as you see fit, it all depends on what type of players you are aiming to get on the server.

I think (I know this has happened with me) that sometime people join a server looking to have a "proper" game, whilst other people will join to have a bit of a mess about. The person trying to play properly will then get very annoyed. I think we should just say that if someone asks you to be a bit more serious, you should respect that.

i am quite tempted to point out that there are well over 2000 servers for source.. if people want to have fun on a server then let them.. enjoy it as a game and find a server to suit you when the curent one does not..

Of course its your choice no one is saying that it is not, but if some of the people who pay for the server dont agree with the majority who think it is ok to mess around then thats when you have the problem, Tbh i stopped using the server for the reason this thread started (slaying, Slapping etc), i dont like that sort of stuff so i found another server. And the "if you dont like it f**k off" sort of attitude is the probably the main reason why your server is always empty, i not trying to tell you guys how to run the server because its sweet FA to do with me i have my own (so dont really care), but it used to be a fun place to play without all the admin abuse and the server was always full, most of the guys who used to go on now dont, for again the same reason the thread started, just remember that you are representing a company albeit unofficially who is part of a large community, the last thing that you should be doing is having a f**k you my way or the highway attitude.
