Big, aluminium heatsinks from industrial PCBs (brand new)

    Hi,

I think it is too much of a waste to throw them out. Roughly 15.5cm long, 12cm wide and 6cm tall. Widely spread fins for passive cooling. Looks like made from a single block. Got 3x of them.

    Message me if you're interested

Could come in useful for some projects. How much do you reckon postage would be?

Each weights 1.45 Kg so 3x of them would come to 5Kg + packaging, while using DPD local the postage would be £10.69 for parcels up to 10Kg. For all 3x of the heatsinks. Worst case scenario, you can sell it for scrap

EDIT: let me know if you want me to look for a cheaper postage. Too bad uploading pictures here is a ache... They look nice, at least to me

Check out Hermes for delivery, they're usually quite cheap.

Do you have any photos of them?

£7.39 Hermes ParcelShop, apparently. Up to 15Kg. Downside is that it's a lot more hassle for me - instead of the parcel being collected from my work, I have to drag it to a corner shop :|

They are pretty heavy duty, possibly something off an industrial motor drive controller!

Are you interested in them Jetzki or were you just offering a suggestion?
