Still had a floppy drive in my parts bin and I put together an internal USB adapter for it, just no disk!
If you're still looking I have 100's of SD disks; iirc my amiga 600 doesn't do HD.
I should be able to spare a couple from about next Tuesday; I'm away atm.

The capacity isn't a problem - just a disk to get the floppy drive running for my own amusement
there's a massive box right there. ^ most have my old thesis notes on them but I'm sure one will be blank enough to send you. However if DG has a blank cache that may be more expedient as I'll need to blow the dust off my XP machine to check they don't have any of the important stuff on them. Not, i imagine, that I will ever need it again in any detail, but I do just like knowing all that work is still there given the man hours that went into it.

Would it not be worth while backing up the 10MB or so from the floppy disks on the of chance they become corrupted anyway? Perhaps the disks and data hold symbolic power together. Or like me you just CBA.
I was going to provide a couple of disks of my bootleg sim life. I never had the 1.5mb ram needed to play the game anyway.
because of the limited size it spans across multiple disks. trying to work out the sequence will take a while, especially for the parts which aren't in a windows DOS format. But some of the discs should be clear of that I just don't know which ones atm. It's been a while since I used them! I have got my XP machine out and now need to reinstall XP as it lost the activation key and now it only gives me 30 days of use each install. (Bother my cousin for saying they wanted the machine. I wiped it ready for them and then they changed their mind. By the time I came to need it again MS had closed the licence servers. Arrghghghghghg)
edit you make the assumption it was all written on a PC. At least half of those were written on one of these (not the exact model):
That relic now resides in my parents attic. (Dad can we have a computer, it would help with school work? "you 'll just use it to play games." But school work? "Then the school can give you a computer." Eventually he compromised and got this. Because it was cheaper (and, whether by design or coincidence, couldn't be used to play games!) In theory files should be ASCII readable but I'm not going to faff about with that now. I just want to see which disc, if any, is blank so I know whether I can send it to him.

Still looking? I'm home and dug out some disks. For 3 discs I think its going to be just over an inch thick which may add to postage

An inch thick? As I recall 3.5" floppy discs are relatively thin at a <5mm thick?
It has been some time since I've last handled them, though!
Three disks, two layers of bubble wrap and two layers of cardboard. OK maybe not an inch but getting it down to thinner unit size for RM is going to be a stretch.
