Would be sensible to clear out old stock before any improved models come in
does that include VAT? not going to be able to hold out much longer...

It is a bargain even after VAT if you only want a console, but if you want an extra controller, and a bundle of games it is still cheaper to go for one around the £300 mark, rather than buying these things separately later on.
Going on the prior experience with macro they do list everything excluding vat*, so according to the picture you pay:
£199.99 - Premium Console
£34.99 - Extra wireless controller, PGR & Arcade
£36.99 - Extra Game
= £271.97 ex-VAT - This is a typical package you can get online.
Add VAT and it comes to £319.56**, which isn't a good deal anymore; Scan have the above and an extra game for 4 quid more, so its obvious which is better value.
That 3 years warranty for £30 (ex vat i guess) isn't half bad though really, if it isn't a gimmicky one.
*Things might have changed since I was last there though, which was a couple of years ago now
**I think my maths is right

Xbox 360 prices should drop around the launch of PS3.
