Xbox 360 Unsigned Code Hack

XBox Scene is reporting that a vulnerability in the Xbox 360 console has been found, allowing unsigned code to be executed on the console!

However, it was kept under wraps until the anonymous hacker had reported it to Microsoft, and a patch released for the console. If you are on Xbox live, chances are that your console has already been updated. It’s almost certain that this update will be included in all new game releases, if it already hasn’t been.

It's a bit of a shame it wasn't exploited before being fixed. They managed to blow the Xbox right open in the middle of its lifespan, making it a good media-playing machine for the price.
