Im pretty sure Phil Harrison said you'd need 1.6 version (out on March 23rd) firmware to play ANY PS2 games, and the guys from Cynamite were using 1.5, which seems strange - maybe they didnt know?

I don't know. I was just wondering if you did? They may have used 1.5.
