i'd just like to applaud comet for stating the bleedin' obvious :D
My guess is that Sony laid down some tight restrictions on what discounts/bundles they could do. This is comet trying to put pressure on them to get more freedom/discounts.

Won't they just say "PS3 best selling console of all time"?
I mean they've already said DVD will be replaced by blu-ray in 3 years - so surely it's no stretch to say they've already put nintendo and MS out of business in the console market?
