    Although looking at current RAM prices you might want to wait till the market gets a bit cheaper before you fill one of these bad boys…

    Did the guys actually populate it and fire it up ?

    Would be interesting to see how the VRM etc deals with that kind of additional draw

    Any chance you will bench it in the near future ?

    Maybe on TV ?

    I'm drooling over the thought of how may VM instances you could run with quad Opterons & that much RAM... The price to fully populate that board with CPUs, RAM & fully utilize all of the SATA channels must be phenominal though...
