CeBIT 2007 : Silverstone Sugo SG03...mmmmm

In the last of my coverage from CeBIT we go over a few bits of sweet looking hardware we saw during the week....

It’s the latest model to be added to the Sugo range and hold a micro ATX board inside along with a full size power supply and room enough for their NT-06 Nitrogon passive cooler. Oh I nearly forgot....

They had one at the trade show at the NEC Wednesday with this set up and twin 120mm fans in the front of the case !! It looked sweet !!

Dammit just bought an Aspire X-Qpack, things a b***h to find a decent and cheap HS/F for it that will fit (gotta be less than 80mm high)

Hope they have an option to not have that!

The vent thing really spoils it. The positioning of the vent seems strange, if I remember correctly its just over the back of your PSU - not really doing as much good as it perhaps could...

Any pictures of the inside aren't final. This was still in prototype stages.

As for the grill on the side, I beleive its the direct cooling for the PSU.

Seeing as the vent is useless for the psu they've used in all the pics I've seen of this case. I hope they remove it in the final version or at least make it look better. Looking at the pictures if they leave it as it is, you won't even be able to remove it and put a window in its place as it would look even worse.

I have an older Sugo case, and I am very happy with it, however I tried the NT06 cooler, and I found the performance to be very poor. I switched to an Intel OEM cooler that worked much better.

Go to the silverstone site & there are more pics, which I assume are more final. The side vent does appear to sit against the PSU, but also extends down far enough to the expansion slots at the bottom.

Where does the harddrive(s) go though? Down at the front?

Been waiting for something to change my Sugo SG01 Evo to.

The main question is will the SG03 fit inside the Sugo Pack bag just as snug as the SG01 does. I would check the dimensions, but I'm at work and have better things to do
